Can I take pictures?

Do you run tours in bad weather?

Yes, we’re well prepared to head out in most any weather. Our boats are sturdy, and we provide all passengers with protective goggles and water-resistant floatation suits that feature a wraparound hood. Of course, if the weather gets truly bad to the extent that it poses a safety risk to anyone onboard, rest assured that we will without hesitation cancel our departure and offer everyone a full refund.

Can I wear the goggles over my regular glasses?

I have a health issue; can I still join the tour?

Please reach out to us and we’ll assess the situation. Nine times out of ten, we can make the necessary accommodations to get you onboard and have a great time.

Could I get seasick?

It is very rare that any of our passengers get seasick. Our RIBs cut through waves and don’t sway the same way other boats do. Their open design also allow passengers to maintain a constant view of the horizon, which helps align the visual and vestibular (inner ear) inputs, which plays a crucial role in preventing the disorientation that can cause seasickness.

Does it get very bumpy?

In typical weather conditions, the boat will cut through most waves instead of going over them. Though on windy days, some bumps from going over waves will be unavoidable. Our captains do however take great care to ensure that these waves are absorbed as gently as possible.

What if I get scared?

If you for any reason should become scared or uncomfortable during the tour, simply have to raise your hand and the captain will stop the boat and make sure you're doing okay. We will always ensure everyone is having a good time throughout on our tours.

Who should NOT go on a RIB Boat tour?

We would advise against participating in RIB tours for the following individuals. 1) Persons with severe pre-existing neck or back conditions. 2) Pregnant women beyond their first trimester. 3) Individuals diagnosed with osteoporosis or other conditions that result in brittle bones. If you’re unsure about whether you should join our tours, don’t hesitate to reach out. We can put you directly on the phone with our experienced captains if necessary.

Can you help me order a taxi to get to you?

Of course, we're always happy to help. Reach out to us with the time and place and we can make an order on your behalf. If you’d like to book yourself, we would recommend 07000 Taxi.

Are there restroom facilities nearby?

Yes, there is a public handicap-friendly restroom about 20 meters from the floating dock where our tours depart. We naturally recommend you use it beforehand. Do note that this facility has paid entry.

How early should I arrive?

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your listed departure time for check-in and gear fitting.

Is it cheaper to buy through you than through the cruise?

Yes, booking tours directly through us is always cheaper than booking through the cruiseline and we provide the same protections.

Will I make it back to my cruise in time?

We have never had a guest miss their cruise, and we don't plan to either. We always track cruise departure times and will if neccesary cut our trip short to make sure you get back onboard on time.

What happens if my cruise to Stavanger is canceled?

If your cruise doesn’t arrive in Stavanger as scheduled, you will receive a full refund even if the cancellation window has passed.
